If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Szeged, which is a major city in the Southern Great Plain region. Head north on Route 5 (also known as the E75) towards Budapest. After approximately 2.5 hours of driving, take the exit toward Route 4 (E60) and follow the signs for Budapest. Continue on Route 4 until you reach the outskirts of Budapest. Look for signs directing you to District XVI. Use a GPS device or mapping application to navigate to the exact coordinates of Lake Naplás (47.5089977, 19.247232) which is located near Szilas-patak. Parking may be available along the road near the lake.

Public Transportation
To reach Lake Naplás using public transportation, start from Szeged. Take a train from Szeged to Budapest, which typically takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive at Budapest's Keleti Pályaudvar (Eastern Railway Station), transfer to the M2 Metro line towards Déli Pályaudvar. Change at the Deák Ferenc tér station to the M3 Metro line towards Újpest-Központ. Get off at the next stop, which is Árpád híd, and from there, you can take Bus 120 or 121 towards Sashalom. Disembark at the Szilas-patak stop, and from there, it is a short walk to Lake Naplás. Ensure to check the current train and bus schedules as they can vary.
