If you are traveling by car, head towards Szeged city center. Use the M5 highway if you are coming from Budapest or other regions of Southern Great Plain. Take the Szeged exit and follow signs for the city center. Once in Szeged, follow Szél Street (Szél u.) until you reach Szeged Zoo located at Szél u. 90. There is parking available near the zoo, which may incur a small fee.

To reach Szeged Zoo via train, take a train to Szeged Railway Station (Szeged Vasútállomás). From the station, you can either walk approximately 30 minutes to the zoo or take a local tram. If you choose the tram, board tram line 2 towards Kiskundorozsma and get off at the 'Szent István tér' stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the zoo.
