From Tatabanya, head to the Tatabanya Train Station (Tatabánya Vasútállomás). Take a train towards Komárom. The train frequency is about every hour. Once you arrive at Komárom Station, exit the station and walk towards the main road, which is called Árpád út. Turn left onto Árpád út and continue walking until you reach the Danube River. Cross the bridge over the river, and you will see the Danube Bastion located along the riverbank.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Tatabanya, start at the main square (Fő tér). Head east towards the Kossuth Lajos utca and continue straight. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Árpád út. Turn left onto Árpád út and walk straight until you reach the riverbank. Cross the bridge to Komárom, and you will find the Danube Bastion along the river. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

For those who wish to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Tatabanya. Start at the main square (Fő tér) and head towards Kossuth Lajos utca, then follow the path towards Árpád út. Once you reach the river, take the bike path that runs along the riverbank. This route will take you directly to Komárom, where you can easily access the Danube Bastion. The cycling distance is around 8 kilometers and should take about 30 minutes.
