Public Transport
From the center of Tatabánya, head to the Tatabánya Railway Station (Tatabánya Vasútállomás). You can walk there in about 15 minutes. Once at the station, take a train towards Székesfehérvár. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. After about 15 minutes of travel, get off at the 'Baj' station. From Baj station, exit and walk towards the main road (Route 1) and wait for a bus heading towards Tatabánya. Get on the bus and ask the driver to let you know when to get off at Selim Cave. The cave is located a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Tatabánya, start at the main square (Fő tér). Head southwest on Alkotmány utca, continue straight until you reach the junction with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn left onto Kossuth Lajos utca and follow it until you reach the intersection with Széchenyi utca. Continue onto Széchenyi utca which will lead you towards the hills. The Selim Cave is approximately a 45-minute walk from the town center. Follow the signs towards the cave once you get closer.
Bicycle
For those looking to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from local shops in Tatabánya. Start from the center and follow the bike paths towards the hills leading to Selim Cave. The ride should take about 30 minutes. Make sure to follow the signs for recreational areas and be cautious as you ascend towards the cave entrance.
