Walking
From the center of Vác, head south towards the Danube River. Follow the riverbank until you reach the Váci Bridge (Váci híd). Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the bus terminal. From there, take Bus 100E towards Budapest. Get off at the 'Margit híd, Budai hídfő' stop. From there, walk to Bem József tér, which is approximately a 10-minute walk north. You will find the memorial park right in the square.
Public Transport
Start at the Vác train station. Take the train towards Budapest. Get off at Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station). From the station, take tram number 4 or 6 in the direction of Széll Kálmán tér. Alight at the 'Margit híd, Budai hídfő' stop. Walk north for about 10 minutes to reach Bem József tér.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Vác and ride along the designated bike paths towards the Danube River. Follow the path towards the Váci Bridge (Váci híd). After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you reach the bus terminal. From there, take the bike lane along the river towards Budapest. It’s approximately a 15 km ride, and you will arrive at Bem József tér in about an hour.
