Walking
Start from the center of Vác, near the main square (Fő tér). Head southwest towards the Danube River and follow the signs for the train station (Váci állomás). It is about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach the station, take a train towards Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Budapest Nyugati station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop outside. Take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Dísz tér'. From the tram stop, Dísz tér will be a short walk ahead.
Bus
From Vác, head to the bus station located near the city center. Purchase a ticket to Budapest. Buses run frequently and the journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus station in Budapest, walk towards the nearest metro station (Deák Ferenc tér). Take metro line 2 (red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Get off at the 'Déli pályaudvar' station. From there, exit the metro and take tram number 18 towards 'Móricz Zsigmond körtér'. Get off at the 'Dísz tér' stop, and you will find Dísz tér right in front of you.
Train
Begin your journey at Váci állomás (the train station in Vác). Purchase a ticket to Budapest Nyugati station and board the train heading towards Budapest. The ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati, exit the station and look for the tram stop outside. Board tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. Get off at 'Dísz tér'. Dísz tér will be directly in front of you upon exiting the tram.
