From the center of Vác, head south on the main street, Kossuth Lajos utca. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Dózsa György utca. Turn left onto Dózsa György utca and walk towards the Váci Bridge. Cross the bridge over the Danube River. Once you are on the other side, continue straight on the road, which merges into Route 12. Follow Route 12 for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the village of Hollókő. The village is well-signposted, so keep an eye out for signs indicating your direction.

From Vác, walk to the Váci railway station located on the main road. Purchase a ticket for a train heading towards Hatvan and ensure it stops at Hollókő. The train journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at Hollókő station, exit the station and follow the signs directing you to the village center. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station to the main area of Hollókő, where you can explore the traditional village attractions.
