From Vác, head to the Váci train station (Vác Vasútállomás). Purchase a ticket to Visegrád. Trains run frequently, but check the schedule for exact times. Once you arrive at Visegrád station, exit the station and follow the signs directing you to the Visegrád Castle (Visegrádi Fellegvár). The walk from the station to the castle takes about 30 minutes. Follow the road uphill, which will lead you to the entrance of the castle.

From Vác, take a bus to Visegrád. You can catch a bus from the main bus station (Váci Autóbusz-állomás). Buses to Visegrád are available; be sure to check the timetable for the next bus. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Visegrád, follow the main road uphill towards the castle. It is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop to the castle entrance.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Vác and head towards the Danube River. Follow the riverside path until you reach the Váci train station (Vác Vasútállomás). From there, you can either catch a train to Visegrád or continue walking along the designated walking paths towards Visegrád. This scenic route will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
