Getting There

Walking
From the center of Vác, head towards the Váci Cathedral (Váci Székesegyház). Once you reach the cathedral, continue walking straight along the main street (Kossuth Lajos utca) until you reach the Váci train station. From the station, take the train towards Budapest, which is about a 30-minute journey. Once you arrive at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the tram stop located just outside. Take tram number 4 or 6 towards Széll Kálmán tér. After 4 stops, get off at the stop called 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út'. From there, walk straight down Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út towards Szabadság tér. The Exchange Palace will be on your left at Szabadság tér 17.

Start from the Váci train station in Vác, and take a train towards Budapest. Trains run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. After arriving at Budapest Nyugati Railway Station, exit the station and locate the tram stop. Board tram number 4 or 6 in the direction of Széll Kálmán tér. Travel for 4 stops and alight at 'Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út'. Walk straight along Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út, and take a left onto Szabadság tér. The Exchange Palace will be located at Szabadság tér 17, on your left-hand side.
