Walking
From the main square in Vác (Dózsa György tér), head east towards the Váci Cathedral. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Kossuth Lajos utca. Turn left onto Kossuth Lajos utca and walk until you reach the Vác train station (Váci állomás). From the train station, you can take a train to Budapest, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Budapest-Nyugati station, follow the signs to the metro. Take the M3 metro line towards Kőbánya-Kispest, and then transfer to the M2 line at Deák Ferenc tér towards Örs vezér tere. Get off at the last stop, Örs vezér tere, and from there, take bus number 66 or 66E towards Pesterzsébet. Get off at the Hunyadi János tér stop, and you will arrive at your destination.

From Vác, head to the Váci train station (Váci állomás). Purchase a ticket to Budapest. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest-Nyugati station, exit the station and walk to the nearest metro entrance. Take the M3 line (blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Get off at Deák Ferenc tér and transfer to the M2 line (red line) towards Örs vezér tere. Ride the metro until you reach Örs vezér tere. After exiting, find the bus terminal nearby and take bus number 66 or 66E. Disembark at the Hunyadi János tér stop; you will be at your destination.
