Walking
From the center of Vác, head towards the train station, which is located on the western side of the town. Once at the train station, purchase a ticket for Budapest. The trains to Budapest usually leave every 30 minutes. Board the train heading to Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) in Budapest. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival at Nyugati pályaudvar, exit the station and walk towards the direction of the main street (Nyugati tér).
Public Transport
After arriving at Nyugati pályaudvar, look for the metro station located inside the train station. Take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Kőbánya-Kispest. Travel for three stops until you reach the 'Deák Ferenc tér' station. At Deák Ferenc tér, transfer to Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Déli pályaudvar. Ride for two stops and get off at 'Astoria'. From Astoria, walk two blocks down towards Rákóczi út and then turn left onto Madách Imre tér. The landmark is located in the square.
