Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Vác, specifically at the Váci Cathedral (Váci Székesegyház). From there, head south towards the Danube River. Once you reach the riverbank, take a left and continue walking along the river promenade. Follow the promenade until you reach the Váci Bridge (Váci Híd). Cross the bridge, and upon reaching the other side, you'll find yourself in the town of Sződliget. From here, head towards the Sződliget train station, which is a short walk away. Board a train heading to Budapest. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Budapest's Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station), you can take tram line 4 or 6 towards the Oktogon intersection. Get off at the Oktogon stop, and you will be at your destination.

    From Vác, make your way to the Váci train station. You can either walk there, which takes about 15 minutes from the city center, or take a local bus.
