Car
If you're driving from Sopron, take Route 84 towards Fertőd. Continue on Route 84 for approximately 25 km until you reach Fertőd. Once in Fertőd, follow the signs to the Esterházy-kastély. It's located at Joseph Haydn u. 2, and you should see the entrance on your left. There is parking available near the castle.
Public Transportation
To reach the Esterházy-kastély by public transport from Szombathely, take a train to Sopron. From Sopron, you can catch a regional bus (Bus number 950) that goes directly to Fertőd. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the castle. Walk along Joseph Haydn u. for about 5 minutes, and you'll find the entrance to the castle on your left.
Car
If you're coming from Győr, take Route 1 towards Pannonhalma, then switch to Route 85 heading towards Fertőd. After approximately 40 km, you'll reach Fertőd. Look for Joseph Haydn u. 2, where the Esterházy-kastély is located. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transportation
From the city of Veszprém, take a train to Győr. At Győr, transfer to a train heading towards Sopron. Once in Sopron, follow the public transportation options to catch a bus to Fertőd. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. After you arrive in Fertőd, walk along Joseph Haydn u. for about 5 minutes to reach the Esterházy-kastély.
