If you are in the city center of Zalaegerszeg, start at the main square (Kossuth Lajos tér). From there, head west on Kossuth Lajos utca for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Olajmunkás utca. Turn left onto Olajmunkás utca and walk for another 200 meters. You will see Május 1. liget on your right. The entrance is marked clearly, and the park is known for its greenery and recreational areas.

From Zalaegerszeg city center, you can take bus number 10 or 11 from the main bus station (Zalaegerszeg Autóbusz-állomás). Get off at the 'Olajmunkás utca' stop, which is about a 5-minute ride. Once you exit the bus, walk about 100 meters back along Olajmunkás utca, and you will see the entrance to Május 1. liget on your right.
