Walking
If you are starting from Zalaegerszeg's main square, Kossuth Lajos tér, head south towards the intersection with Petőfi utca. Turn left onto Petőfi utca and walk down until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Batthyány Lajos utca. Continue straight along Batthyány Lajos utca for about 600 meters. The Göcseji Múzeum will be on your left at number 2, marked by a prominent sign.

Public Transport - Bus
From Zalaegerszeg's bus station, take bus number 1 or number 2 towards the city center. Get off at the 'Kossuth Lajos tér' stop. From there, head south along Petőfi utca, as described in the walking route. Alternatively, you can take bus number 3 and get off at the 'Batthyány Lajos utca' stop, which is closer to the museum. Walk a short distance towards number 2 on Batthyány Lajos utca.

Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the main square, Kossuth Lajos tér, and head south on Petőfi utca. After reaching the roundabout, take the second exit onto Batthyány Lajos utca. You can ride straight for about 600 meters, and the museum will be on your left at Batthyány Lajos utca 2. There are bike racks available outside the museum for you to park your bicycle.
