Getting There

Car
From Akureyri city center, head southeast on Hafnarstræti toward Kaldárselsvegur. Turn left onto Kaldárselsvegur and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Fjarðarstræti (Route 1). Follow Route 1 for about 3 kilometers. Take the exit toward Akureyri/Kvíslar and continue on Kvíslarsvegur for about 1 kilometer. Farið will be on your left side at the address 600, Akureyri. There is no parking fee.

From the Akureyri Bus Station, take bus number 60 towards Dalvík. Inform the driver you want to get off at the 'Farið' stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. The bus will take you directly to the area near Farið. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary. The bus fare is around 500 ISK for a one-way ticket.

If you are already in the central area of Akureyri, you can walk to Farið. Start from the Akureyri city center and head southeast on Hafnarstræti. Continue on Kaldárselsvegur for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Fjarðarstræti, turn right and continue walking for about another 3 kilometers. Farið will be on your left at 600, Akureyri. The entire walk will take approximately 45 minutes.
