If you are starting from the Akureyri town center (e.g., the Akureyri Church), head south on Hafnarstræti street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Aðalstræti. Turn left onto Aðalstræti, and walk for about 400 meters. The Akureyri Museum will be on your right at Aðalstræti 58.
Public Transport
From the Akureyri Bus Station, take Bus Line 1 towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Aðalstræti/Skautahólmur'. From there, walk about 200 meters down Aðalstræti and you will find the Akureyri Museum at Aðalstræti 58 on your left.
Biking
If you are renting a bike, start from the main square in Akureyri and head towards the waterfront. Follow the bike lanes along the shore until you reach Hafnarstræti. Turn left onto Aðalstræti and continue for about 400 meters. The Akureyri Museum will be on your right at Aðalstræti 58.
