Getting There

Walking

If you are starting from the Akureyri city center, head north on Hafnarstræti Street towards the intersection with Skólastígur Street. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection. Turn right onto Skólastígur Street and continue walking for about 300 meters. The Akureyri Swimming Pool will be on your left at Skólastígur 4.
Public Bus

From the city center, you can take the local bus from the bus stop at the main square (Aðalstræti). Look for bus number 2, which will take you directly to the Akureyri Swimming Pool. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Sundlaug,' which is right next to the pool. The entrance is just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in the city center. Start by heading north on Hafnarstræti Street, and then take a left onto Skólastígur Street.
