Car
From the center of Borgarfjörður, head southeast on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Reykjavik. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 70 km (about 45 minutes). After reaching the outskirts of Reykjavik, take the exit towards Route 41, heading towards Garðabær. Follow Route 41 until you reach the exit for Garðabær, then turn onto Mýrargata. Gardhus og greifynjan will be located at Mýrargata 24, 101 Garðabær.

Take the bus from Borgarfjörður to Reykjavik. Bus services like Strætó operate this route. Once you arrive at the Reykjavik BSI Bus Terminal, transfer to a bus heading towards Garðabær. Routes 1 or 2 will take you to Garðabær. Get off at the nearest stop to Mýrargata, then walk to Mýrargata 24. Check the Strætó website for the latest schedules and fares, which typically range from 1,000 ISK to 1,500 ISK for the entire journey.
