From Borgarfjörður, get on Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading south. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit toward Route 47, which leads to Akranes. Continue on Route 47 for about 30 kilometers until you reach Akranes. Once you arrive in Akranes, follow the signs to the Old Akranes Lighthouse, which is located at 8W53+4R4. There is free parking available near the lighthouse.
