Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Borgarfjörður and head east on Route 1. After approximately 70 kilometers, take the exit toward Route 49 and merge onto it. Follow Route 49 for about 10 kilometers until you reach Reykjavík. Once in Reykjavík, continue on Borgartún until you arrive at Höfði House, located at Borgartún 105, 105 Reykjavík. There is usually free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Borgarfjörður to Reykjavík. You can catch the bus at the Borgarfjörður bus station. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, you can take Bus 14 from the central bus station towards 'Tjornin' and get off at the 'Höfðatorg' stop. From there, it is just a short 5-minute walk to Höfði House, located at Borgartún 105, 105 Reykjavík. Please check the bus schedules as they may vary.
