If you are driving from Borgarnes, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading south. After approximately 35 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 50 towards Biskupstungnabraut. Continue on Route 50 for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Biskupstungnabraut. Turn left onto Biskupstungnabraut and drive for about 5 kilometers. Stóri-Hellir will be on your left, marked by a small parking area.
