If you are starting from the center of Borgarnes, head east on Borgarbraut (the main road). Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Hlíðartún. Turn left onto Hlíðartún and follow the road until you arrive at Hlíðartúnshúsin, which is situated at G3RP+GH4, 310 Borgarnes. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Borgarnes. Start at the main square and navigate towards Borgarbraut. Once on Borgarbraut, head east until you reach the intersection with Hlíðartún. Turn left onto Hlíðartún and continue until you reach Hlíðartúnshúsin. The biking route will take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
Public Transport
Currently, there may not be a dedicated bus service to Hlíðartúnshúsin from the center of Borgarnes. However, you can check local schedules at the Borgarnes bus station. If a bus is available, take the one heading towards the east side of the town and get off at the closest stop to Hlíðartún, then walk the remaining distance to Hlíðartúnshúsin.
