From the center of Dalvik, head east on Þorunnarstígur street towards the coastline. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road, Route 1. Turn left onto Route 1 and follow it for about 25 kilometers (15.5 miles). You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small towns. As you approach Akureyri, look for signs indicating the city center. Once in Akureyri, follow the signs to Eyrarlandsvegur, where the Akureyri Botanical Garden is located.

From Dalvik, head to the local bus station located near the town center. Take the bus to Akureyri; the journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Ensure to check the bus schedule for departure times. Once you arrive at the Akureyri bus terminal, exit and head south on Hafnarstræti street. Continue straight and you will reach Eyrarlandsvegur. The Akureyri Botanical Garden will be on your left.
