Walking
From the center of Dalvik, head south on Aðalgata street towards the harbor. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street where it meets the waterfront. Once you are at the harbor, turn left to follow the shoreline heading east. As you walk along the waterfront, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Eyjafjörður. It will take about 20 minutes of walking along the scenic coastline to reach a viewpoint of the fjord.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Dalvik. Start your journey from the rental location, heading towards Aðalgata street. Follow it down to the harbor, and then take the path along the waterfront heading east. The ride will provide you with beautiful views of the Eyjafjörður fjord and will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

In Dalvik, there are limited public transport options. However, you can check the local bus schedule for any routes that may take you closer to Eyjafjörður. Generally, buses may not go directly to the fjord, so it’s advisable to take a bus to the nearest stop and then walk the remaining distance.
