Start from the center of Dalvik, near the main bus stop. Head southeast toward the coast on Dalvikurvegur road. After about 1 kilometer, follow the signs for Route 1 towards Ólafsfjörður. You will walk through scenic landscapes with views of the ocean and mountains. Continue walking for approximately 10 kilometers along Route 1. Be sure to stay on the designated walking paths where available. Once you reach Ólafsfjörður, Foss is located approximately 1 kilometer from the main road. Look for the signs directing you to the waterfall.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Dalvik. Start your journey heading southeast on Dalvikurvegur road. After 1 kilometer, turn onto Route 1 and continue biking towards Ólafsfjörður. The total distance is about 10 kilometers, and you can enjoy beautiful coastal views along the way. Once you arrive in Ólafsfjörður, follow the signs towards Foss, which is approximately 1 kilometer from the main road. Be cautious of the traffic and stay on the designated bike paths.

From the center of Dalvik, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the bus that is heading towards Ólafsfjörður. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive in Ólafsfjörður, get off at the main bus station. From there, you can walk towards Foss, which is about a 1-kilometer walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs for Foss, and enjoy the scenery along the way.
