Start in the center of Dalvik at the main square. Head southwest towards the harbor. Walk along the waterfront on Norðurgata street until you reach the intersection with Miðgata. Turn right onto Miðgata and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the fork in the road, take the left path onto Sýrdalsgata. Follow Sýrdalsgata for about 1.5 kilometers, passing through scenic landscapes. As you approach Sýrdal, you will see a sign directing you to Sýrdalsfoss. Follow the trail signs for a short hike towards the waterfall.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Dalvik. Start at the main square and head southwest towards the harbor. Continue on Norðurgata street until you reach an intersection with Miðgata. Turn right onto Miðgata and cycle until the street ends. At the fork, take the left onto Sýrdalsgata. Cycle along Sýrdalsgata for approximately 1.5 kilometers, enjoying the picturesque views. Look for trail signs indicating the way to Sýrdalsfoss and follow them for a short ride to the waterfall.
