If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Þingvellir National Park, which is a popular stop on the Golden Circle route. Head east on Route 36 for approximately 17 km until you reach the junction with Route 365. Turn left onto Route 365 and continue for about 35 km. When you reach the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 37. After about 4 km, turn right onto Route 1 (the Ring Road). Continue for about 10 km, then take the exit for Route 518 towards Barnafoss. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at Barnafoss in approximately 5 minutes. The total drive time from Þingvellir is roughly 1 hour.
