After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 37 towards Flúðir. Continue on Route 37 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 30. Turn right onto Route 30. After about 12 kilometers, you'll see a sign for Þjórsárdalur. Turn left onto Route 32 and follow it for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the parking area for Gjáin, which is located off Stangarvegur (804). The parking area may have a small fee, so be prepared with cash or a card.
