From the center of Grindavik, start at the main road, Suðurgata. Head south towards the sea. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Þórsgata. Turn right onto Þórsgata and continue walking. When you reach the intersection with Garðarsveitar, turn left. Continue straight until you see the sign for Carved Rock (38J5+5F6, Garður). The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can take the same route as walking but at a faster pace. Start from the center of Grindavik on Suðurgata heading south. After reaching Þórsgata, turn right and then left at Garðarsveitar. The total distance is about 5 km, and cycling will take around 15-20 minutes.
