Walking
Start your journey from the center of Grindavik. Head southwest on Aðalgata, the main street in Grindavik. Walk for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Suðurgata. Turn right onto Suðurgata and continue for another 300 meters, passing by local shops and cafes. After reaching the end of Suðurgata, take a left onto the main road, Route 43 (also known as Reykjanesbraut), and continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass some scenic views along the way. Once you reach the junction with Route 427, turn left. Gunnuhver Hot Springs will be on your right after about 1 kilometer. The entire walk is approximately 3.5 kilometers and should take around 45 minutes.
