Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Grindavik, head southwest on Aðalbraut street towards the coast. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Vesturgata. Turn right onto Vesturgata and walk until you reach the end of the street, where it intersects with Víkurbraut. Turn left onto Víkurbraut and follow it as it curves around the coastline. After about 1 kilometer, look for signs leading towards the bus station. Follow the signs to the bus stop located near the intersection of Víkurbraut and Duusgata.

• Public Transport

  From Grindavik, take the local bus service (if available) towards Keflavik. The bus will typically stop at various points in Grindavik, so make sure to check the schedule for the nearest bus stop. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach the Keflavik town center. After disembarking, walk towards Duusgata street, which is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. Continue walking on Duusgata until you reach Listasafn Reykjanesbæjar at Duusgata 2.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Grindavik and head southwest on Aðalbraut street. After about 1 kilometer, when you reach Víkurbraut, turn left. Stay on Víkurbraut as it turns into Duusgata. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers until you reach Listasafn Reykjanesbæjar, which is located at Duusgata 2 in Keflavik. Be cautious of traffic and ensure you follow bike lanes where available.
