Walking
Start at the Grindavik town center, near the main square. Head southwest on Aðalgata street, passing the local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Reykjanesbraut (Route 43). Turn left onto Reykjanesbraut and follow the sidewalk. Keep walking for about 2 kilometers where you'll see signs for the hiking trail to Uppspretta. The entrance to the trail is marked and is located on the right side of the road. Follow the trail for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach Uppspretta, a beautiful natural spring area.

Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Grindavik. Start at the Grindavik town center and head southwest on Aðalgata street. Continue straight towards Reykjanesbraut (Route 43) and turn left. Bike along Reykjanesbraut, staying on the dedicated bike path. After about 2 kilometers, look for the sign indicating the trail to Uppspretta on the right. Park your bike at the entrance and follow the hiking trail for about 1 kilometer to reach the springs.

While there is no direct public transport route to Uppspretta, you can take a bus from the Grindavik bus station to the nearest stop along Reykjanesbraut. Check the local bus schedules for routes heading towards Keflavik. Once you get off the bus, walk back along Reykjanesbraut towards Grindavik for about 1 kilometer until you find the marked hiking trail to Uppspretta on your left. Follow the trail for another kilometer to reach the springs.
