From the center of Grindavik, start at the main square by the town's church. Head southwest on Víðirvegur street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Suðurstrandarvegur (Road 43). Cross the road and continue walking along Suðurstrandarvegur. You will see signs indicating the way to Hópsnes. After about 30 minutes, you will pass a small residential area and reach a path leading directly to the lighthouse. Follow the path towards the coast. The lighthouse will be visible from a distance.

If you're renting a bike in Grindavik, start at the bike rental shop in the town center. Head south on Víðirvegur and take a right onto Suðurstrandarvegur (Road 43). Continue on Road 43 for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the Hópsnes area. Look for the path leading towards the coast and follow it to the lighthouse. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views along the way.
