Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, head towards Garðarsbraut in Húsavík. From the center of Húsavík, take the main road (Þingvallarvegur) heading north. Continue straight until you reach Garðarsbraut. Once you’re on Garðarsbraut, look for Gentle Giants Whale Watching, which is located on the left side of the road at number 640. There is parking available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, check the local bus schedules as services may vary. Take a bus that heads towards Húsavík. Once you arrive at Húsavík's bus station, which is centrally located, you can walk to Gentle Giants Whale Watching. Exit the bus station and head north on Þingvallarvegur. After about a 15-minute walk, turn left onto Garðarsbraut, and continue until you see number 640 on your left. Be sure to confirm the latest bus schedules to ensure you have the correct timings.

• Walking

  If you are already in the vicinity of Húsavík, you can easily walk to Gentle Giants Whale Watching. From the town center, head north on Þingvallarvegur for about 1.2 kilometers. Once you reach Garðarsbraut, turn left and walk until you find number 640 on your left side. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.

• Taxi

  For convenience, you can also take a taxi to Gentle Giants Whale Watching. Taxis are available throughout Húsavík. Simply provide the driver with the address: Garðarsbraut, 640 Húsavík. The fare will depend on your starting location but expect to pay around 1,500 to 3,000 ISK for a short ride within Húsavík.
