Car
If you are driving from Húsavík town center, head south on Hafnarstígur towards Húsavík harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Þingvalla. Turn left onto Þingvalla and follow it for about 1.5 km. Next, take a right turn onto Staðarbraut. Continue on this road for another 3 km until you reach Aðaldalur. The Old Turfhouse, Grenjaðarstaður will be on your right side. Look for the sign on the property.

To reach Grenjaðarstaður using public transportation, you can take the local bus service from Húsavík bus station. Board the bus that heads towards Aðaldalur. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Staðarbraut. From there, it is a short walk of about 500 meters. Head east on Staðarbraut, and you will see the Old Turfhouse on your left.
