Walking
From the center of Husavik, head east towards the main road, Route 85. Once you reach Route 85, turn left and start walking north. Continue on Route 85 for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 1 (the Ring Road). At the junction, turn right onto Route 1 and continue walking for approximately 7 kilometers. You will see a sign for Hafragilsfoss / Jökulsárgljúfur View Point. Follow the signs and walk another 1 kilometer along the designated path leading to the viewpoint.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Husavik harbor area and ride east towards Route 85. Once you reach Route 85, turn left and cycle north for about 2 kilometers. At the junction with Route 1, turn right onto Route 1 and continue cycling for approximately 7 kilometers. Look for the sign directing you to Hafragilsfoss / Jökulsárgljúfur View Point and follow the path for the final kilometer to the viewpoint.
