If you're driving, start from the center of Húsavík. Head east on Aðalstræti road. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the road. Take the second exit onto Norðurgata and follow it until you reach another roundabout. Take the first exit onto Höfðabraut and continue for about 1.5 km. You will see the Exploration Museum on your left at Höfði 24. There is parking available nearby.

For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules as they may vary. From the Húsavík bus station, take Bus 1 towards the town center. Get off at the stop 'Húsavík Skóli'. From there, it's a 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Skólavegur, turn left onto Norðurgata, then right onto Höfðabraut. The museum will be on your left at Höfði 24. If you need to return by bus, ensure you check the timings for the last bus back.
