Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From the center of Kópavogur, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 1 towards 'Bústaðavegur'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Salahverfi' stop. From there, walk about 500 meters northeast on Salahverfi street, and you will arrive at Hádegishólar, which is located within the hiking area.

  • Walking

    If you are near the Kópavogur town hall, head southeast on Tjarnargata towards Lágmúli. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lágmúli street. Turn left on Lágmúli and walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach Salahverfi. Once you reach Salahverfi, turn right and walk for another 300 meters until you see the entrance to Hádegishólar.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Kópavogur swimming pool area and head towards the main road, Lágmúli. Cycle along Lágmúli until you reach Salahverfi. The total distance is approximately 2 kilometers. Once you reach Salahverfi, continue until you find the entrance to Hádegishólar, which will be on your right.
