Public Bus
To reach Perlan from Kopavogur using public transportation, first locate the nearest bus stop to you in Kopavogur. You can catch bus number 15 (Strætó) at any of the stops in Kopavogur. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop named 'Sjávarfelli'. This journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark at 'Sjávarfelli', you will need to walk for about 10 minutes. Head northeast on Sjávarfelli road until you reach the intersection with Hringbraut road. Turn left onto Hringbraut and continue straight. Keep an eye out for the large glass dome of Perlan, which should be visible from a distance. Follow Hringbraut until you see the entrance to Perlan on your right.

If you prefer walking and are located in central Kopavogur, you can walk to Perlan as well. Start by heading east on the main road towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the end of the road. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Garðahvarf and continue straight. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with Hringbraut road. Turn left onto Hringbraut and follow it for about 2 kilometers until you see Perlan on your right. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
