If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the town of Ísafjörður. Head south on Route 61 towards Þingeyri. After about 20 kilometers, take a right turn onto Route 63. Continue on Route 63 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 61 again. Take a left turn onto Route 61 and drive for another 15 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Víðidalstunga (7FX4+X62). After turning onto the Víðidalstunga road, follow it for about 10 kilometers. Bergárfoss will be on your right. Make sure to park safely at the designated area nearby.

For those using public transportation, start from Ísafjörður and take the bus towards Reykhólar. Once you reach Reykhólar, you'll need to arrange for a taxi or a local shuttle service to take you to Víðidalstunga (7FX4+X62). Please note that public transport options may be limited, and it's advisable to check the bus schedules in advance. Upon arrival at Víðidalstunga, you may have to walk a short distance to reach Bergárfoss.
