Walking
From the center of Olafsvik, head southeast on the main road (Route 54) towards Arnarstapi. Follow the road for about 12 kilometers. You will pass by beautiful landscapes and views of the ocean. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Arnarstapi. Once you arrive in Arnarstapi, continue following the signs until you reach Q98H+54H. Gatklettur will be nearby, and you can spot the unique rock formations from the path.
Public Transport
Take the local bus from Olafsvik to Arnarstapi. The bus station is located in the center of Olafsvik. Check the bus schedule for the next departure, as it may not be very frequent. Once you arrive in Arnarstapi, disembark at the main stop, which is close to Q98H+54H. From there, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Gatklettur, which is a short walk away.
