From the center of Olafsvik, head east on Aðalgata street towards the coast. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Brekkugata. Turn right onto Brekkugata. Continue on Brekkugata until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the coast. Follow the coastline to the south, and you will see signs pointing towards Hellnar. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and offers beautiful views along the way.

From the main bus stop in Olafsvik, take the bus towards Hellnar. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as services may not run frequently. The ride should take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Hellnar bus stop, you will be right in the village, and you can explore the area on foot.
