Start at the center of Ólafsvík, near the main church (Ólafsvíkurkirkja). Head south on Aðalgata street. Follow this road as it curves and continues out of the town. After about 1.5 kilometers, you'll reach a fork in the road. Take the right fork onto a gravel path that will lead you closer to Svöðufoss. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer, and you'll see the waterfall in the distance. Follow the trail signs that lead you directly to Svöðufoss, which is located approximately 300 meters off the path.
