Getting There

  • Car

    From Reykjavík, take Route 41 towards Keflavík. Continue on Route 41 for about 35 kilometers. After passing through Keflavík, take the exit onto Route 43 towards Hafnir. Follow Route 43 for approximately 12 kilometers. You will see signs for Hafnarberg - Sea-cliffs. Turn onto the access road towards 'V7J7+H63', and park in the designated area. The sea cliffs will be in view, just a short walk from the parking area.

    Take the bus from Reykjavík to Keflavík (Strætó bus #55). The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once in Keflavík, transfer to bus #57 towards Hafnir. This bus runs several times a day, but check the schedule for the latest times. The bus will take you to Hafnir, where you will need to get off at the stop closest to Hafnarberg - Sea-cliffs. From there, it’s a short walk to the cliffs. Keep an eye out for local signs pointing towards the cliffs.
