Public Bus
Start your journey at the main bus terminal, Hlemmur, located in the center of Reykjavik. Look for bus number 11 or 14, both of which head towards Árbær. Board the bus and stay on for about 20-25 minutes. Disembark at the stop named 'Árbæjarsafn'. From there, Kermóafoss is approximately a 15-minute walk. Walk down the path leading towards Hjólastígur street, and you should see signs directing you to the waterfall.

Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Reykjavik, particularly near the city center. Once you have your bike, head towards the coastline and follow the bike paths that lead towards Árbær. The ride will take around 30-40 minutes. Look for Hjólastígur street as you approach Árbær. After reaching Hjólastígur, park your bike and walk the remaining 10 minutes to Kermóafoss.
