Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Harpa Concert Hall, head east on Austurbakki towards the street Hringbraut. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hringbraut. Turn left onto Hringbraut and walk until you see the sculpture park on your right. Continue walking along Hringbraut, and you will see Íslandsvarðan on the left side of the road, just off the path.

From the central bus station (BSÍ), take bus number 14 towards 'Mjódd'. Get off at the stop 'Hringbraut' after about 10 minutes. From the bus stop, walk back towards Hringbraut and turn left. Walk straight until you reach the sculpture park, where you will find Íslandsvarðan located on the left side of the road near the waterfront.

If you are starting from Laugavegur, the main shopping street, walk towards the end of the street until you reach the intersection with Hringbraut. Turn left onto Hringbraut and continue walking straight. After a short walk, you will see the sculpture park on your right side, and just a little further ahead is Íslandsvarðan.
