If you are in the center of Sauðárkrókur, start at the town's main square (Torg) where you can find various shops and cafes. Head towards the church, which is a prominent landmark in the town. From the square, walk northeast on Kirkjutorg street for about 200 meters. You will see Gamla Pósthúsið located at Kirkjutorg 5, right next to the church. It is a charming guest house that should be easy to recognize due to its traditional Icelandic architecture.

If you are coming from the local swimming pool (Sundlaug Sauðárkróks), exit the pool area and head west towards the main road, then turn right onto the main road (Austurvegur). Walk along Austurvegur for about 400 meters until you reach Kirkjutorg street. Take a left and continue straight for another 200 meters. Gamla Pósthúsið will be on your right at Kirkjutorg 5, next to the church.
