From the square, walk northeast on Kirkjutorg street for about 200 meters. You will see Gamla Pósthúsið located at Kirkjutorg 5, right next to the church. If you are coming from the local swimming pool (Sundlaug Sauðárkróks), exit the pool area and head west towards the main road, then turn right onto the main road (Austurvegur). Walk along Austurvegur for about 400 meters until you reach Kirkjutorg street. Take a left and continue straight for another 200 meters. Gamla Pósthúsið will be on your right at Kirkjutorg 5, next to the church.
