Walking
Start at the Seydisfjordur town center. Head south on the main road, Þjóðvegur 93. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road (you will see signs for Bjólfur Mountain). Turn left onto Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Bjólfur Mountain Avalanche Barriers on your right. The barriers are located near the base of the mountain, where you can also enjoy scenic views of the surrounding area.

If you are near the Seydisfjordur Church, exit the church area and walk towards the main road (Þjóðvegur 93). Turn right and follow the road south. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Unnamed Road intersection. Turn left here and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. The Bjólfur Mountain Avalanche Barriers will be on your right.
