From the center of Seydisfjordur, start at the Seydisfjordur Church, which is a prominent landmark. Head west on Seyðisfjarðavegur road. Continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You'll pass through some scenic areas with views of the fjord. After about 1.5 km, you will see a sign for Heavier Mountain on your right. Follow the trail that leads up towards the mountain. The trail is well marked, and the hike will take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.
Bicycling
If you have a bicycle, start at the Seydisfjordur Church. Head west on Seyðisfjarðavegur road for about 1.5 kilometers. The road is relatively flat and provides beautiful views of the fjord. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating the path to Heavier Mountain on your right. Take the turn and follow the marked trail to the mountain. The biking trail may be more challenging as you ascend, so be prepared for some steep areas.
Hiking
